Zooming photos in Expression Engine

I need help getting the zooming picture program from Highslide working in my Expression Engine template. I have installed the files in the root drive of my server, and the program is working fine when I enter the full url of photos, but the zoom does not work with the Expression Engine variables. I know the variables are correct, because the thumbnails show up fine, and the link to the larger photo also appears at the bottom of the screen (and it works without Highslide installed), but when I click I only get a ‘loading' response, but no zoom to a larger photo.

The Highslide site is here: http://vikjavev.no/highslide/. There are several items about a loading error in the forums, but none that involves this issue.

Here's the code that is not working (also include is this code with full urls, which does work):

You can sign into my site at http://peopleinneed.info/pinsys/, using username Zoom and password photos, and can edit the Zoom template. I'm including all this information so you can see exactly what it would take to fix this problem. I imagine that it would just involve a few small changes to the variable that links to the larger photo.
