I am a university professor writing a set of managerial accounting cases to be sold to university business programs. Phase I will be a rough mini-case presentation and related response collection to demonstrate capability and feasibility. If successful, Phase II will be completion of the case using formal artwork and professional voiceovers. Phase III will be completion of two more cases and Phase IV will be completion of the remaining two cases. Phase V will be an opening video.

Target Audience:
Accounting professors who adopt this set of cases as a basis for learning key accounting concepts.
Other Flash Presentation Purpose:
Engage students in a way that gets them involved in solving the case at hand.
Presentation Length:
Possibly up to two or three minutes total, but broken in to smaller segments. We would start much smaller.

There will be an opening Flash presentation leading to a place (i.e., home) where users choose by clicking on different options. The clicks will open new Flash presentations, and then return the user to home. At the home, the user will have fields where answers will be entered.

original art may be required later but this would come only after the concept and feasibility of the project is demonstrated.

A basis for this project can be found at http://newtitan.ja.org/. As discussed above, development of the opening video will be in the last phase, however. To see the screens that provide the basis for the cases, one will need to set up a new account and then sign in. Having done that, click through to the place where you can click on a yellow button that says, "Play Game." We would start with a screen that is analogous to the first graphic and related voice. Then click the X in the upper right to open up the home screen. From here, the user will be given different choices for gathering additional information about the case, and speakers would come on to deliver the information.
Once payment is made for each Phase of the project, the source code will become the property of the employer and will be delivered to the employer at that point.
