We are NOT searching graphic design, nor SEO, but just the "engine" of the portal: the programming and database. Features: 1. It should allow visitor's to easily reserve in the lodgings in the database, offering many possibilities of search as "all lodgings", "all hotels", "all hostels", "cheaper lodgings", etc. There should be an https section where visitors may insert their personal and credit card information. There should also be an emailer system able to communicate to the lodgings new reservations with guests details completely automatically and very secure (SSL). The whole system should be very friendly and secure. We would like that emailer would be also by sms if possible. 2. Login/password section for owners, where they can manage their properties pages, with calendar of reservations, insertion of photos and description of the lodgings, pricing, cancellation terms, reservations, new reservations, next week reservations. We would like to focuses in a very friendly and fuctional calendar, for the lodgings may use it as own booking calendar. 3. We are looking forward to find a solution for overbooking problems, as most of small hotels and hostels uses differents similar web portals and it is quite difficult to have calendars always synchronized. We would like to introduce options like - Confirmation response from the lodging for reservations made within 7 days prior to arrival. - Possibility of undone reservations by the lodging admin until 45 days prior to arrival date (penalty fee anyway). - Or some other proposal by progammer. Initially it would be intended to host up to 50 lodgings, upgradable for more lodgings. We are openminded to listen which programming language it would be better, which database system. Very important to take into account is that it should be compatible with all PC and Mac browsers, and use less java scripts possible. We look for a good skilled programmer able to develop the structure of the site togheter with our webdesigner. Once the job will be finished the graphic designer will complete with text and images contents the portal. When work is finished, we request also a backupcopy with major guidelines on how to install and how it works. It may be placed in a folder in the hosting server, or recorded on cd and delivered by mail. The whole should be the most friendly and easy to use possible. Thank you very much. We do not understand about programming much, so please not by hour biddings, please total project price biddings. You won't be dissapointed. I would suggest a web based solution that is workable on all platfforms and accessible from any Internet connected computer. PHP with a mysql database end is a pretty good way to go about this whole venture.
